2 Semester: from A1 to C1 (TestDaF)

The German language education from A1 to C1 level takes two semesters.

Students who already have a language level attested by an accredited language certificate have the possibility to shorten the education time by a lateral entry (see course schedule)

For scientific, technical or economic studies at universities or colleges in Germany usually the C1 level is required. An evidence for this level can be provided by the successful participation in the TestDaF exam. TheTestDaF is internationally accredited .

1 Semester: from A1 to B1: Certificate German (ZD)

For the German language education from A1 to B1with a final Certifiacte German ("ZD") exam a one- semester German language education at EHI is needed. The Certificate German language test ("ZD") takes place at the end of the B1- level.

The Certificate German is a proof for a intermediate language level and is required by the most of colleges in Germany.

I studied at the university Guiling for Electrical Engineering. My subject is 'Measurment and Control and Intrumentation'. But most of the lectures are about electrical engineering. Now I am learning German in Freudenstadt. After one year I would like to start my master's studies at the TU Ilmenau. In my opinion, German is a bit difficult but the more I learn the better I speak."
