Freudenstadt in the Black Forest

Freudenstadt is a touristic centre and a medium city in the Northern Black Forest region in Germany. It is a city for tourism, recreation, music, sports, culture and life. Freudenstadt is a very attractive and exciting city with nature, healthy air, a lot of forest and clean water. In Freudenstadt, you can enjoy Germany's biggest market place with 50 water fountains in the "Lower Square", over 100 wells in the central city, seven districts and around 80 sculptures.

Surrounded by a beautiful landscape Freudenstadt has developed from a spa town to a city with a good infrastructure. Capable shops and restaurants offer an excellent shopping opportunity. With the charm of a traditional spa town Freudenstadt shows its timeless beauty.

Although Freudenstadt is locaded very pastoral in the Nothern Black Forest, the transport facilities are very good. Whether by car, train, light-rail, bus or plane- many roads lead to the beautiful city.
