TELC
telc stands for The European Language Certificates.
In Germany the telc - GmbH partners with the Federal Government to provide German language exam at the end of integrational courses. Telc certificates are therefore cosidered to be a verification of the individuals knowledge of the German language e.g. for naturalisation. The Federal Foreign Office also accepts telc certificates for the purpose of reuniting foreign spouses with their German counterpart.
Abroad telc is highly regarded and recognised.

TestDaF Institute
The TestDaF Institute is an institution of the Society for Academic Study Preparation and Test Development (g.a.s.t.) e. V., the Fern-University in Hagen and the Ruhr-University in Bochum.
The TestDaF-Institute cooperates with the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD), the German Rector's Conference (HRK), many colleges in Germany and abroad, and the Goethe-Institute.

TestAS
Since November 2005 the TestDaF Institute together with ITB Consulting have taken over the development and execution of tests for foreign students on behalf od DAAD. The TestAS is the central study ability test for studies in Germany.
The development of TestAS is sponsored by the Federal Ministry for Education and Science supported by DAAD professional funds.
