Preparation Courses for Art Studies

Foreign applicants persuing art studies are required to prove their artistic skills as well as their language abilities.

For this, EHI offers intensive preparation courses. Besides intensive language lessons at the levels from A1 to C1 (TestDaF) the participants also have weekly art lessons. In the atelier of our institute the students learn or improve their skills while working with various art media such as pencil and charcoal, watercolor and acrylic. In addition they practise artistic- technical work, explore shapes and sewing. The atelier is open to all participants around the clock for independent work.

Under the guidance of experienced artists and designers the participants prepare their application portfolios for admission in art colleges of their choice (free or fine arts or desing courses).

During the preparation courses students have the opportunity to visit art schools, art exhibitions and weekend workshops.
